Who we are

This website is operated by Laura Biddle ("Laura the Acupuncturist"), a sole trader providing acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine services at 6 Queens Chambers, 61 Boldmere Rd, Boldmere, Sutton Coldfield, B73 5XA.

What data we collect

Contact form: When you submit the contact form, we collect your name, email address, and message content. This data is processed by Web3Forms and delivered to us via email. We do not store form submissions on this website.

Booking system: When you book via JaneApp, your data is handled by JaneApp's privacy policy. We use JaneApp as our clinic management system.

Analytics: We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies, does not collect personal data, and does not track individual visitors. It provides aggregate page view and performance data only.

Cookies

This website does not set any cookies. No consent banner is required. See our cookie policy for full details.

How we use your data

Contact form data is used solely to respond to your enquiry. We do not use your data for marketing unless you explicitly opt in.

Data retention

Contact form submissions are retained in email for as long as necessary to respond to your enquiry. Clinical records are retained in accordance with professional body requirements (typically 8 years for adults).

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, or erase your personal data. Contact Laura@TheAcu.co.uk to make a request.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your personal data, you can complain to us directly using our data protection complaints procedure. We will acknowledge your complaint within 30 days and respond without undue delay.
