What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website can store on your device to remember information about you, such as your preferences or that you are logged in. Some cookies are essential for a site to work; others are used for analytics or advertising.

Does this website use cookies?

Only if you agree. With your consent, we use Google Analytics cookies to understand how visitors use the site. When you first visit, a banner asks whether you accept. No analytics cookies are set, and nothing is sent to Google, unless you click Accept. We never use cookies for advertising.

Cookies we use

_ga (Google Analytics), distinguishes one visitor from another. Expires after 2 years. Set only with your consent.
_ga_L4707RRDDS (Google Analytics), keeps track of your current visit. Expires after 2 years. Set only with your consent.

We also store your Accept or Reject choice in your browser's local storage (under the name "ga-consent") so we don't ask you again on every page. This is strictly necessary to respect your choice and is never sent to us or anyone else.

Analytics

If you accept, Google Analytics, provided by Google, records how the site is used: pages visited, time spent, approximate location (to city level), device and browser type, and how you arrived. We use this only in aggregate to improve the site. Google's advertising features are switched off, and we cannot identify you from this data. Google may process it outside the UK under the safeguards in its data processing terms.

We also use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand, in aggregate, how the site is performing. It is privacy-first: it does not use cookies, does not collect personal data, and does not track or fingerprint individual visitors. It reports only anonymous, aggregate page-view and performance data.

Fonts

We use Google Fonts to display typography. The fonts are loaded without cookies and without tracking.

Third-party services

Some features link you to, or send your message through, third-party services that operate under their own cookie and privacy policies. We do not set these cookies, but they may:

Sanctum, our online booking system. If you click "Book Now" you are taken to Sanctum, which may set its own cookies. See Sanctum's own policy for details.
Web3Forms, which processes our contact form. Submitting the form sends your message via Web3Forms; we do not store submissions on this website.

Managing cookies

You can change your mind at any time using the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page. If you withdraw consent, we stop analytics and delete the Google Analytics cookies from your browser. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

Changes to this policy

If we change the cookies we use, we will update this page and, where required, ask for your consent again before any new non-essential cookies are set.
